I have recently made the exciting decision to go on a mission trip with Radiant Church and the LINK (Leading Innovatively Nig er to the Kingdom). Radiant has been involved in Niger for years and taken teams from all around the country to Niger for construction, organizing Kid’s Camps and Evangelism. I am so excited to share with you the opportunity to help change the life of the people in Niger, a 4th World country in Africa. This will be my fourth trip, I fell in love with the people and feel lead to go back!
The LINK is a ministry totally dedicated to bringing hope to a country that is predominantly Muslim, suffering in an AIDS epidemic, truly needing and wanting the hope found in Jesus Christ. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time than sharing the Gospel with others and seeing my life changes as well. If you would like to see some of the videos and information about past LINK teams, see the website at www.linkniger.com or
Thanks to recent government decisions this Country, it is now possible for Christian Missionaries to spread the Word of God and Open Christian Churches.
The Group I am going with a group consisting of 11 members including, friends from my church, my older brother, and my grandparents. We will be going into villages deep in the heart of the Sahara Desert miles away from fresh water, where temperatures can reach over 150 degrees fahrenheit!
We will be spreading God's love to these people with food, fresh water, clothes, spending time with them and preaching to them with the help of translators that speak the native languages. We will be running a Christian kids camp in a village where children have never heard of Jesus before.
I am excited to spend time with these kids playing games, sports, doing arts and crafts, singing, feeding them and giving them water, and most importantly helping to spread Gods love and lead these kids to Jesus.
We will also be visiting an orphanage where we will be taking boxes and boxes of gifts from musical instruments, to hot water bottles for the babies, to soccer balls, footballs, and basketballs. We will sing praise songs, and play sports with all the orphans, will be surprising them with squirt guns and taking every one of them on camel rides.
Niger is located in North Western Africa and my team will be working in the capital city of Niamey. I will be leaving on (Kids Camp) July 11, 2012 and returning home on July 23, 2012. The total cost of this trip is around four thousand dollars, which includes all expenses: airfare, accommodations, food, and training.
I cannot accomplish this task alone, so I am asking you to be a part of this mission trip either in prayer, finances, or both. During the next several weeks, I will be working vary hard to raise a prayer team and the finances to go. On May 6th I ran a 10 Kilometer "Fun Run" to help raise funds for my July Orphanage Mission to Niger, Africa. I still have $3,500 more to raise !!! I appreciate any additional support you can give me. I'm trusting God 100% that my goal will be met. Effective Ministries has set a deadline to have all our mission funds turned in by the financial deadline Wednesday, May 30th, 2012.
ANY amount that you can give will be GREATLY appreciated. If you would like to support me financially in this opportunity, please send your tax-deductible donation payable to “Effective Ministries, Inc.(EMI)” to my home address 2314 North Lowell Lane, Santa Ana, Ca 92706 OR
